We use two different capacitors in our passive tone; you can choose which one to use thanks to the push-pull knob.One capacitor allows more low frequencies to pass, blocking progressively high and mid frequencies: useful to obtain a darker sound, for example in reggae or blues.The other one leaves more mid frequencies out:  if you put all the volume on the bridge pickup, you will get close to the typical “Jaco sound”.
